Business History
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT & RESEARCH (RMR) is a partnership set up in 1967 to carry out research and consultancy work in the ecological, social and energy sectors.
RMR have operated their business in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia Sudan, Ethiopia) and East Asia (Lao PDR, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, China) for the last 40 years.
RMR expanded into the Kazakhstan market in late 2007 with the registration of of a limited liability partnership (Reg No. 0322772).
The core team are Dr R. Murray Watson, Dr Jenny M. Nimmo, Dr Sean P. Watson, Mr. Peter D. Crees, and Dr Andrew G. Watson.
