Planning & Development
RMR can undertake to study and write proposals for planning and development purposes in developing countries, specialising in the energy, livestock, wildlife, environment, agriculture, forestry, fishery, tourism and rural development sectors.
Studies and proposals completed include:
- Power sector analyses in Lao PDR, and the UK to improve energy decision making
- Studies for livestock sector in Sudan with proposals to improve livestock statistics;
- Studies of the role of livestock statistics in National Planning in Sudan;
- Studies of the livestock, wildlife and environment in Somalia and proposals to improve rangeland management;
- National Planning of the livestock sector for Sierra Leone;
- The use of natural resources and environmental information for development planning in Thailand.
