RMR has developed pole and balloon systems to capture low level aerial photography. These versatile and cost effective effective solutions bring aerial photography to whole new markets.
Pole Camera
A 15m extendable pole is used with a remote controlled camera to capture images from an elevated viewpoint, giving you a 'birds-eye' view of a location that you simply cannot get from the ground.
The pole mount makes this process quick, cheap and safe. Pan tilt and zoom can be controlled from the ground and the images are transferred straight to a laptop computer.
The pole is secured to the ground and tethered to work in almost any wind conditions.
Balloon Camera
Using a small tethered balloon, filled with lighter-than-air gas we can carry the camera to a much greater height than with the pole.
The extra height makes the balloon camera ideal for capturing images of taller buildings and larger sites. A tethered balloon required no special permissions for use in Kazakhstan, provided it is kept below 50m elevation, more than enough to capture some spectacular images.
